Dieses Mal zwar “nur” von knapp 30 Teilnehmern besucht, aber trotzdem mindestens ebenso interessant wie der erste, fand gestern der zweite Online Round Table zum Thema “Karrierefalle Internet. Welchen Einfluss hat das Web 2.0 auf unsere Online-Reputation und Identität?” statt. Wer es nicht geschafft hat, kann sich nun die einstündige Aufzeichnung anschauen, in der Mario Grobholz u.a. das Start-Up “myON-ID” genauer vorstellt.

This time with just 30 participants, but at least as interesting as the first, took place the second Online Round Table yesterday. This time on the topic “Careers and the Internet – how does Web 2.0 impact on our Online Reputation and Identity?”. Nachdem beim ersten Online Round Table im Januar bereits mehr als 60 Interessierte aus aller Welt teilgenommen haben, geht die Reihe am kommenden Montag endlich in die zweite Runde.

Dieses Mal mit dem Thema: “Karrierefalle Internet. Welchen Einfluss hat das Web 2.0 auf unsere Online-Reputation und Identität?”

Die vortragenden Experten

		Mario Grobholz – Der Maschinenbau- und Wirtschaftsingenieur ist Gründer und Ideengeber der myON-ID Media GmbH. Erste Start-Up-Erfahrungen sammelte er bereits im Jahre 2000, als er bei einem Münchner Unternehmen für den Aufbau und Betrieb von Portalen und Online Services zuständig war. Nach einem Zwischenstopp als Produktmanager bei der WEB.De AG wechselte er als leitender Manager zu o2 Germany, bei dem er für die Verwaltung des Online-Geschäfts für über 10 Millionen Bestandskunden verantwortlich war. Schließlich übernahm er zu Beginn des Jahres 2007 die Position des Direktor Business Development beim französischen Fernsehsender TF1 und dessen Tochterunternehmen Eurosport für den deutschen Markt. Dort zeichnete er sich für die Web 2.0 Strategie dieser Sender verantwortlich und führte den Bloghoster Overblog im deutschen Markt ein (Quelle: vgl. Blogpiloten-Gastbeitrag 2008).
		Steven Warburton – Der E-Learning Manager des King’s College in London ist außerdem ein Mitglied des Centre for Distance Education der University of London, bei dem er den Vorsitz der Gruppe für Forschungsstrategien innehat. Steven Warburton arbeitet momentan an mehreren Projekten wie beispielsweise einer Studie über den Einsatz von Social Software in Fern-Lern-Settings oder auch der Entwicklung einer virtuellen Bibliotheks-Umgebung (bibliospace), die eine Software zur Herstellung von sozialen Bezügen nutzt. Weiterhin unterstützt er als Mitglied der EMERGE Projekt-Gruppe, einer Community, die sich über ganz Großbritannien erstreckt, Nutzerinnovationen und Entwicklungen im Bereich von Web 2.0 und aufkommenden Technologien. Im Mittelpunkt seines Forschungsinteresses stehen Themen wie die Identität beim Online-Lernen oder auch Social Networking.

Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte und Diskussionsanreize:

• Titel in Anlehnung an das gleichnamige Buch des bekannten deutschen PR-Bloggers Klaus Eck (Link)
• Wie können wir E-Portfolios und andere Werkzeuge für die Bewerbung oder die Bildung einer Identität im Netz einsetzen?
• Welche Risiken und Chancen zur Entwicklung einer Netz-Identität existieren?
• Privacy 2.0 – Welche Grenzen des Auftretens im Netz sollten heute nicht mehr überschritten werden?

After the first Online Round Table (ORT) in January with more than 60 interested people from all over the world the series goes into the next round upcoming Monday.

Topic this time is: “Careers and the Internet – how does Web 2.0 impact on our Online Reputation and Identity?”

The expert speakers

		Mario Grobholz – The machine construction and industrial engineer is the founder and creative director of the myON-ID Media Corporation. First start-up experiences he gained in 2000 when he was responsible for the construction and operation of portals and online services in a Munich company. After a stopover as product manager at WEB.De AG, he was a senior manager at o2 Germany, where he was responsible for the management of the online business for over 10 million customers. Finally he took over the position of Director of Business Development at the French television channel TF1 and its subsidiary Eurosport for the German market at the beginning of 2007. There he was responsible for the Web 2.0 strategy of these channels and introduced the blog hoster Overblog in the German market (source: cp. Blogpiloten-guest article 2008).
		Steven Warburton – The e-learning manager at King’s College London is also a member of the Center for Distance Education, University of London, where he chairs the Group for Research Strategies. Steven Warburton is currently working on several projects such as a study on the use of social software in distance learning settings or even the development of a virtual library environment (bibliospace), a software that uses social implications. Furthermore he supports user innovations and developments in the field of Web 2.0 and emerging technologies as a member of the EMERGE project group – a community that extends over the whole of Britain. The focus of his research interest are topics such as the identity in online learning or even social networking.

Thematic focuses and discussion subjects:

• How can we use E-Portfolios and other tools for applying for jobs and building identities?
• Which risks and opportunities in developing a web identity exist?
• Privacy 2.0 – Which limits in appearance on the net should no longer be crossed today?
